A Luxurious Getaway to Litchfield, Connecticut

The Litchfield Inn - the perfect location for a fun getaway to Litchfield County. This luxury boutique hotel is just minutes from the Litchfield town center and conveniently close to local wineries and hiking trails.

Checking In

Fresh baked cookies upon check-in? Yes, please! I always appreciate these little details that really make a stay so memorable.

I also loved the beautifully decorated entrance and foyer that were decked out for the season.

The Property

The common areas are cozy and inviting and feature:

  • A lounge on the first floor with plush chairs and a roaring fireplace. This space is perfect for relaxing on a chilly winter day after a day of exploring.

  • A common area with tables, perfect for playing games. Coffee, tea and snacks are also available here daily.

  • A small upstairs common area with games.

  • A large outdoor space and patio perfect for warmer days. You can catch sunset views here too.

  • There is also a fitness room complete with a Peloton Bike.

The Guest Rooms

The inn offers a series of 12 Bespoke Rooms as well as classic rooms. Each Bespoke room is individually named and designed with thoughtful details. I stayed in the Cottage Room, which was modern and bright with beautiful light fixtures and super comfortable king bed. I loved the bathroom in this room, which featured an elegant clawfoot tub and shower. My room also included convenient amenities like a mini fridge, Keurig coffeemaker, and microwave which is always appreciated since I often bring snacks or have leftovers.

Classic rooms are also available which are more standard in design and include a variety of different room types. The Litchfield Inn also offers pet-friendly rooms so everyone can join the adventure.

Breakfast

A complimentary breakfast buffet is included with your stay, featuring made-to-order omelets, pancakes, home fries, fruit, and baked goods. My spinach, mushroom, and cheddar omelet was delicious! Plus, you will find amazing local coffee from Krafted Brew Lab at the buffet. I love coffee and this one was strong and full of flavor.

Thank you for a great stay Litchfield Inn!
