Exploring North Adams in the Berkshires (MA)

A Summer Stay in North Adams is the perfect time to explore the area!

What to do:

  • Stop at the Wigwam Western Summit, by the Route 2 hairpin turn, on your way in and take in the views. (North Adams)

  • Explore MASS MoCA, a contemporary art museum. Plan on a couple hours here as there is so much to see. (North Adams)

  • Walk the town and discover the many art murals located throughout. (North Adams)

  • Take in sunset views from Spruces Park. (Williamstown)

  • Drive the road or hike to the top of Mount Greylock, the highest peak in Massachusetts. Climb the Veterans War Memorial Tower for a 360-degree view. (Adams)

  • Walk the grounds at The Clark, including the many trails on the property, take in views by the reflecting pool, and take in all of the art exhibits on display. (Williamstown)

  • Enjoy a visit to the Field Farm Trustees Property. Explore the beautiful trails and take in the mountain views. There are also several sculptures on display. (Williamstown)

Where to eat and drink:

  • Dine at PUBLIC eat+drink for craft cocktails and a delicious meal. For my visit I chose the Gin Blossoms cocktail, the Spring Pasta Primavera, and the Blueberry Cobbler for dessert. (North Adams)

  • Grab an ice cream from Lickety Split located right outside of MASS MoCA.

  • Cheers to adventures in the Berkshires with a craft beer from Bright Ideas Brewing.
